We had a great stay at Elsie's Hut over the May bank holiday weekend. The surrounding area and countryside is beautiful. We had a lovely time going for walks in the day and then sitting out and cooking by the fire every night. Would highly recommend staying here!

Situated in a beautiful part of Sussex, we were both amazed with the Hut's facilities, having an inside toilet, shower and charging points!  It was absolutely stunning, and by far the cosiest shepherd’s hut we’ve stayed in.  The undercover cooking area was also very useful. There’s a huge amount of varied walks on your doorstep. - can’t recommend staying highly enough!

Elsie's Hut was really lovely - so much thought has obviously gone into everything.  We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family and hopefully coming back.

It has been the perfect weekend.  Slow living.  Beautiful walking.  Sunsets by the fire, plus hedgerow jam for breakfast and sloe gin as a nightcap both made from fruit foraged from the hedgerows the last time we were here.  What blessings!

Enjoyed 2 lovely nights here.  The weather couldn't have been better.  We were greeted every morning by the sheep and cooked delicious meals on the BBQ and stove.  Topped off by sitting by the fire enjoying sunset and stars.  The hut was lovely and of course the amazing log fire! Couldn't  have asked for a better few days away to rest and recover.  Thanks.

Had a lovely weekend.  Relaxing in the toasty Hut listening to the rain outside.  Cooked up a tasty veggie stew on the fire.  What more could one ask for? Well, maybe less rain but Hey ho!  Got to love the British weather.

Enjoyed a lovely weekend here with great weather.  Very relaxing and very cosy.  We appreciated how clean and tidy it was and really liked the decoration in the hut.

Far from the maddening crowd but a few feet from the sheep.  Top place to stay. What fun!  Look out for the kestrels that get buzzed by the crows and the sunsets, superb.  Thanks for the nice touches to the hut.  We'd certainly recommend a stay here.

Perfect location, loved being here.  Has everything you could need.  We sat out in the sunshine having a BBQ, watching the sun go down - just stunning.  Would stay again and would advise others to do so.
